While your HVAC system is conducting its normal daily operations dirt, dust, moisture, and microbial growth build up on the inside of critical components such as the evaporator coil and inside the unit itself. Without conducting semi-annual maintenance, it could lead to the loss of efficiency, break down components inside the unit creating the need for repairs, contaminate the air you and your customers breath, and/ or lead to the need of replacing the unit entirely
Overall: Tune Ups assist in the longevity of your unit's life span, minimizes allergens within the business, and assists to avoid costly repairs.
When is the best time to receive Maintenance?
Ideally in Spring before the heat starts and Fall before the cold of Winter.
What is included in a Local's Business Tune- Up:
- Visual inspection of both the inside and outside units for rodent damage, rust, wires for damage or corrosion, refrigerant copper lines signs of damage, corrosion, leaks, or improper connections, and other potential operational issues.
- Thermostat contains proper voltage and responds to commands.
- Refrigerant level check.
- Inspection and replacement of any dirty filters (Customer provided if not signed up w/ our maintenance agreement).
- Examination of the evaporator coil.
- Flush and vacuum condensate drain line.
- Checking proper incoming voltage on all circuits.
- Inspection and tightening of any loose electrical components.
- Flow-switch operational check.
- Visual inspection of drip pan.
- Visual inspection of duct work integrity (Looking for rodent damage, cuts, breaks, and improper connections) If access is available.
- Check for system performance according to its manufacturer and Delta T.
